Approval of the development plan aquaculture province of Dak Lak to 2020

on 31/12/2014, Dak Lak Province people's Committee issued decision No. 3193/QD-UBND on approval for development of aquaculture province of Dak Lak to 2020. Department of agriculture-agriculture and rural development of Dak Lak Province assigned host and coordinate with the relevant departments direct the counties, towns and cities in the implementation of planning; the National Center for freshwater aquatic breeding in central unit is consulting.

Development of aquaculture province of Dak Lak to 2020 is one of the priority projects is Dak Lak Province people's Committee for approval and advocates estimate made in late 2012. The planning was through authority on 28/11/2014, at the Department of agriculture and rural development province of Dak Lak.

The general objective of the project is planning and effective use of the potential of the water to aquaculture development is stable and sustainable, increase production and aquaculture area, create jobs, contribute to the reduction of poverty, socio-economic stability, security, defense, Dak Lak Province.

Specific objectives: development of aquaculture province of Dak Lak to 2020 with total area put into aquaculture 14,800 ha, aquaculture output 24,790 tons, worth about aquaculture producers 1,372 billion. The economics of fisheries contribute 1.5-2.0% of GDP in agriculture forestry and fisheries, 0.6-1.0% of the GDP of the province of Dak Lak; aquaculture planning and to the district and town according to the type of feed, type of surface and the object.

There are seven groups of categories are preferred to invest in the project, including: the development of aquatic varieties and renewable resources; research and application of science-technology into production; infrastructure investment for aquaculture; investigate the current state of the environment aquaculture areas of the province; cold water fish farming development and forest protection management.
